running late

Its been a busy time for mcarthurriver. The action in the Supreme Court last week was intense. I had hoped that the media would have provided more coverage, but I hoped in vain. That said, there were some excellent stories early in the week.

As well as catching up on other river issues, I have also been trying to summarise the court case, which I will post ASAP.

The Federal court case starts in May…

Offensive comments removed

Unfortunately the comments by Brumby had to be removed as they were offensive and possibly defamatory.

As I said previously, I welcome comments from all perspectives but must ask that people carefully consider what they write. Lets be passionate, accurate, funny and even irreverent, but never offensive.

Heated defence of Xstrata

I am happy for the issue to be debated in comments, but it seems I need to remind people to be nice. (See Recent Comments, legal challenge)

Yes Brumby, the photo’s are good and yes we did need to organise it. If you want to know more about the protest then I suggest you contact me directly rather than making misleading statements.

And Brumby, your second post is insulting to the Traditional Owners and the Northern Land Council (NLC) and verging on defamatory, would you like me to remove it?
